Dr. John Gero is a leading researcher in the field of design computing. He is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Sydney, Australia. Dr. Gero has published over 500 papers in the field of design computing, and he is the author of several books, including "Design Computing and Cognition" (1990) and "Design Thinking" (2014).

Dr. Gero is a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). He is also a member of the Royal Society of New South Wales. Dr. Gero has received numerous awards for his research, including the ACM SIGGRAPH Distinguished Artist Award for Lifetime Achievement in Digital Art (2014).
