In 2006, I was involved in a car accident that nearly took my life. I was hit head-on by a drunk driver and spent several weeks in the hospital, fighting for my life. I suffered a traumatic brain injury, a broken neck, and multiple other injuries. The doctors told me that I would never walk again, and that I would be lucky to live a normal life.

But I refused to give up. I worked hard in physical therapy, and eventually I was able to walk again. I went back to school and finished my degree. I got a job and started a family. I am now living a full and happy life, and I am grateful for every day that I have.
My memoir, Not Dead Yet, is a story of resilience, hope, and second chances. It is a story about the power of the human spirit and the importance of never giving up. I hope that my story will inspire others to overcome their own challenges and to live their lives to the fullest.
