I remember the day I first saw Max and Luna. I was at the local shelter, looking for a dog to adopt. I had always wanted a dog, but I had never had the time or money to get one. But now, I was finally ready.
I walked into the shelter and immediately saw Max. He was a big, black pit bull with a white chest. He was sitting in the corner of his cage, looking sad and scared. I went over to him and started to talk to him. He wagged his tail and licked my hand. I knew right then and there that he was the dog for me.
I then saw Luna. She was a small, brown shepherd mix with big, floppy ears. She was sitting in a cage next to Max, and she was just as scared as he was. I went over to her and started to talk to her.
